Addressing Overview

zencontrol takes the hard work out of addressing a DALI line. Traditional installers may have been exposed to low-level DALI programming, but with zencontrol all the heavy lifting is done for you.

The controllers automatically address the DALI line and handle the quirks associated with it. For example, if multiple devices end up on the same address, the zencontrol system will automatically detect and resolve this, keeping the original device at its current location and assigning the new device to an unused address.

Because the bus is addressed automatically, the line is typically fully addressed and ready for commissioning before you even connect to the controller, saving both time and money.
