The overview page is where a user can review, check, and modify devices on a line. You can access this within the Addressing wizard by clicking the Overview button at the bottom of the screen.
The Overview page is divided into three main sections:
- Remaining devices
- Input overview
- Output overview
You can switch between these sections by tapping the buttons at the top of the screen.
Remaining devices
The Remaining devices tab shows a list of all product types on the line and the number of each type that is still to be commissioned.
Input overview page
The Input overview page shows the commissioning state of all input devices (ECDs) on the line, including both commissioned and uncommissioned devices. The screen is designed to show which input types (instances) are located at each address.
For addresses that do not have any inputs, the address location is shown in the default colour.
The address location is colour-coded according to the input type (instance type) present at that address. For example, if an address contains a device with a single push-button instance, the address location is shown in purple.
For devices that contain two different input types, the address location is split in half, with each half displaying the colour of the corresponding input type. For devices with three different input types, the address location is divided into three segments, one for each input type.
Below is an example of an address location that contains both a push-button input and a generic input.
Devices that include hatching indicate that the input device also has a corresponding output device. For example, a sensor that also includes a relay will be shown with hatching.
A user can also quickly see whether a device is commissioned or not commissioned by the colour surrounding the address location number.
Swapping addresses
A user can swap devices to different addresses by:
- Double-tapping the first device address.
- Double-tapping the second device address.
Identifying a device
A user can identify a device by tapping its address.
Editing a device
To edit a device, the user can long-press the address button to open the device edit page.
Output overview page
The Output overview page shows the commissioning state of all output devices on the line, including both commissioned and uncommissioned devices. The screen is designed to show which output types (instances) are located at each address.
Below is the Output page legend, which can be found by scrolling to the bottom of the Outputs page. This legend explains the colours associated with the different output types and how to understand their commissioning state.
For devices that contain two different output types, the address location is split in half, with each half displaying the colour of the corresponding output type. For devices with three different output types, the address location is divided into three segments, one for each output type.
Below is an example of an address location that contains both Led Driver output (DT6) and a colour control (DT8)
Devices that include hatching indicate that the output device also has a corresponding input device. For example, a Smart led driver that also includes a sensor will be shown with hatching.
A user can also quickly see whether a device is commissioned or not commissioned by the colour surrounding the address location number.
