The Commands page is where a user can identify different devices on the line to assist with fault finding. You can access it within the Addressing wizard by tapping the Commands button at the bottom of the screen.
A user can send commands to the DALI line to quickly set the lighting level or confirm that devices are communicating correctly. The following commands can be sent to all devices on the line:
Off – turns all devices off.
Identify all – makes all devices identify so communication can be confirmed.
Recall max – sets all devices to their maximum light level.
Additionally, a user can identify the remaining device types on the line. These are the devices that are still to be commissioned. (note, that commissioned devices will not identify)
The device types, in order, are:
Lighting devices
Relays
Emergency devices
All Input devices
Light sensor devices
Occupancy sensors
Push button / absolute switches
Wellbeing / general-purpose sensors
