Commissioning with zencontrol can be carried out via the cloud, allowing the zencontrol application controllers to be accessed and configured without connecting to the local area network. This enables users to commission systems from the app without relocating Wi-Fi access points or gaining access to distribution boards or network switches. In secure buildings, where access to network infrastructure is often restricted or locked down, this significantly simplifies commissioning and reduces the need for on-site network access.
Because the user is authorised through the zencontrol cloud, the connection is already secured and no additional processes are required.
A user must have a user account to log into the app.
To connect locally to a controller, the user must also either:
Create their own site, or
Be added to an existing site that has zencontrol application controllers assigned to it.
Until a user has access to at least one site with application controllers, they will not be able to connect to controllers from the app.
