The zc-controller-pro range provides broader compatibility for projects requiring DALI-2 sensors, switches and other input devices from multiple manufacturers.
Both controller ranges support certified DALI and DALI-2 output devices from any manufacturer. They also support the available zencontrol software add-ons and integration options, including BACnet, MQTT and DMX. The main difference between the ranges is therefore the support provided for DALI-2 input devices.
Because zencontrol ecosystem input devices are tested and tightly integrated with the zencontrol platform, we can automate more of the configuration, reduce project-specific customisation and minimise ongoing support requirements. These efficiencies allow us to offer the Core range at a more competitive price while maintaining a flexible upgrade path for projects whose requirements change.
