The zencontrol commission application lets you narrow down the list on the My control systems screen to quickly find a control system. You can search by name or fitting identifier, and filter by control system type and floor. Your search and filters are remembered until you go back from that screen.
You can also arrive at the My control systems screen with the list already filtered — for example, after scanning a control system's QR code from the My sites screen (see *Find a control system by scanning its QR code*).

Search by name or fitting identifier
When on the My control systems screen
- Tap the search icon (magnifying glass) in the top bar.
- Start typing in the search bar. The list filters as you type, matching on the control system's name OR fitting identifier.
Note: Search is not case-sensitive.
Filter by type or floor
With search open, two filter chips are available: Floor and Control system type
- Tap a chip to open its picker.
- Select one or more entries to filter by. You can also search within the picker to find a type or floor quickly. The number of matching control systems is shown against each option.
- Use Clear to remove all selections in that picker.
Note: The picker closes each time you make a selection, so reopen the chip if you want to add more types or floors.
Combine search and filters
The search text, type filter and floor filter all apply together, so you can narrow the list by more than one at a time — for example, all controllers of a given type on a particular floor. When you clear the search text and every filter, the search closes.
Arriving from a QR code scan
When you scan a control system's QR code from the My sites screen (requires internet access), the app navigates you to the My control systems screen with the list filtered to that single control system that was scanned. See *Find a control system by scanning its QR code*.
