zencontrol Thermal sensor App

To commission the thermal sensor, the customer is required to download the thermal sensor app.

The app allows the integrator to connect directly to the sensor via Bluetooth to read, configure, and test the device.

When the sensor is newly installed, it can be discovered using the standard scan and find process.

If the sensor has previously been added to a zencontrol control system, Bluetooth will likely have been disabled. In this case, Bluetooth must be re-enabled from the cloud before the app can reconnect to the sensor.

The app is currently required to commission the following features:

• occupancy zone configuration

• people counting enablement

• exclusion zone configuration

• door counter configuration

• testing and verification

Features such as enabling people tracking, background temperature, the light sensor, or simply enabling these functions can also be configured through the cloud or other zencontrol software, as this process only requires enabling the relevant DALI instances.
