ECG Configurations
The zc-io-6 has many configurations to ensure the device is fit for purpose. The zc-io-6 consists of 2 ECGs and 1 ECD. Each ECG can be configured independently of the other in the same way.
Operating Mode | Name | Description |
0x00 | 0-10V Output | In this mode the logical unit adheres to the Device Type 5 (IEC 62389-206) standards for 0V - 10V and 1V - 10V lighting control. |
0x80 | ||
0x81 | DC Output | In this mode the logical unit adheres to the Device Type 7 (IEC 62386-208) standards for switching functionality. In this mode, the input voltage is outputted. |
DC Output
In this mode the logical unit acts as a device type 7 driver. The output that it switches is a current limited output of the input voltage. The current limit applied to this output is a maximum load of 250mA. If the product detects an overcurrent condition, or a short, the product will turn the output off and set lamp failure for this ECG.
The product will not attempt to leave this error state on its own. You should attempt to remove the error condition and then turn this ECG on again. The ECG will then clear lamp failure and attempt to turn on, at this point it will resume error detection and set lamp failure again if the error condition is detected.
