How to use a rotary with mechanical switch

The zc-rotary offers the ability to dim/toggle and change colour of  a dali line of upto 64 devices with ease. Adding an additional mechanical switch, allows you to duplicate the push instance of the rotary at another location. 

By default the zc-rotary is configured to have 3 control device instances corresponding to rotate clockwise, rotate counter clockwise and push. Actual function is dependent on the configuration of the DALI-2 application controllers connected to the DALI line.

Example of use would be to control the dimming of the lights in the room with toggling on/off via the push. You can then also use a long push to change the colour of the room lighting.  With the mechanical switch wired in parallel to the rotary, allows you to add the toggling and colour change ability at another location such as a second entry.
