A comfort target is a special target type that is used only with occupancy sensors. In order to use a comfort target, an occupancy sensor must first have a standard target set. Any subsequent targets can be made comfort targets. Targets can be set using grid view in the Instance types > Instance view.
In the above example, when the occupancy sensor is activated, a standard trigger will be sent to Group 0 and a comfort trigger will be sent to both Group 2 and Group 3. A typical use case for this is for Group 0 in a room to go to max level and have Group 2 and Group 3 to go to min level.
A comfort trigger is required to be setup from the Triggers & sequences > Trigger view in order for comfort functionality to execute. Comfort triggers can only have sequences of Comfort type set as the standard sequence. All other sequence types are incompatible for the trigger condition.
If a comfort target is already currently running a standard sequence then the comfort sequence will not be ran as it has a lower precedence over a standard sequence.
Comfort targets can be visualised in plan view by selecting the occupancy sensor that comfort groups have been set up on. This can help to verify that they have been setup correctly.
