Groups are separated into 3 types.
-
Standard - A user is free to add / remove devices from the group (and to delete the group itself).
-
Protected - A user is not free to remove the group but can remove / add devices from this group.
-
System - A user is not free to remove the group or modify membership to this group.
Both protected and system groups are created by the controllers to carry out continual automatic functionality.
In the case of group 0 on an application controller, group 0 will be defined as PROTECTED.
In the case of groups 0-9 on the room controller, they will be defined as SYSTEM as they are used for room grouping through the 10 channels.
All other groups will be considered standard.
