Use
With DT8 devices, zencontrol can allow the user to change the colour based on a switch action, within a sequence or with a profile by using the recall scene command. Additionally, a user can change the preset "scene arc levels" to control the light level of the scene.
Transitioning
The fade time can be used to control the transition speed when going between the current light level and the desired colour preset.
Colour dimming switch.
A user can turn most switch inputs into a colour changing switch. Zencontrol have the following supported switch modes
- Colour dimmer (colour warm/colour cooler & on/off, where on will recall to the maximum light level)
- Memory colour dimmer (colour warm/colour cooler & on/off, where on will recall to the last light level)
- Dim cooler
- Dim warmer
Additional notes
- Colour presets can also be dimmed up and down with standard light level dimming controls or dimmer settings. Dimming with standard light level commands will only change the brightness and not the colour.
- Cycaidian prescriptions can be created with the use of profiles. These can be scheduled to change at different times during the day
- Users can create a timed event to change colour
- Users can create a sequence to change colours over time.
- A action switch can be created to recall a different scene on each press. ( ie, Scene 1, Scene 2, Scene 3)
- A rotary dimmer can be used to change the colour of the room.
