Control systems can be removed by selecting remove control system from the right-click menu in grid view. Only one control system can be removed at a time to avoid catastrophic changes to sites.
A confirmation box will appear to confirm that you want to delete the control system. This requires entering the label of the control system to confirm you want to delete it. This stops accidental removal of control systems.
The force remove all children checkbox will also unassign devices from device locations, remove device locations, remove thread networks, unassign alarm categories and unassign gateways on the control system before doing the remove as the last step.
If the checkbox is not checked then it will assume that all of the relevant device locations, threads, gateways and alarm categories have been removed from the control system manually before removal. If any of these are still assigned, an error will display when attempting to remove the control system so that it can be rectified before attempting again.
