Overview
The zc-smart-blind has a Smart Calibration mode where the product will continuously calibrate to the use case to maintain accurate timing. The zc-smart-blind must undergo an initial calibration for the use case, and then will self calibrate and adjust for error. The Smart Calibration mode requires the output to adhere to the output load specification found in the Datasheet. The zc-smart-blind modes and how to configure them can be found here.
Calibration
Resetting Calibration
To reset a products calibration, you can do the following;
Dali
To reset the blind calibration using Dali, you can;
- Send ECG Reset to the product
- As documented in IEC 62386-102
eDali
To reset the blind calibration using eDali, you can;
- Set ECG DTR2 to 19
- Send 0xDDxxC1
- Where xx is the ECG address byte (as documented in IEC 62386-102)
Initial Calibration
To initially calibrate the zc-smart-blind, you should;
- Adjust the physical limit switches for the motor being used
- Send Recall Max to the product
- Wait for the product to reach the first limit
- The first limit will be arc level 254
- Send off to the product
- Wait for the product to reach the second limit
- The second limit will be arc level 0
- Send Recall Max to the product
- Wait for the product to reach the first limit
Self Calibration
After initial calibration, the product will perform self calibration to account for error when the product detects a limit. No user intervention is required for this feature.
