Tenancies provide a method to break a building into physical spaces that can be subleased and controlled independently.
A tenancy allows for the following
- Access control. Limit who can view, change or interact with your tenancy
- View or filter devices based on tenancy
- Create reports specifically for the tenancy
- View only the tenancy in plan-view
Tenancys are the preferred method when dealing with multiple customers/ leases within a building as each tenant has their own control. In contrast, the building manager can still oversee and control the entire building. Some installers will also assign the common areas to their own tenancy called " base build" or " common areas"
