How to change operating modes for ECDs?

Operating modes can be changed for ECDs by navigating to the Instance types -> ECD view of the grid view. You can then change the operating mode from the dropdown of available operating modes if the device supports changing operating modes.

Changing an operating mode will cause all fields on the device to be paused until the operating mode is synced back from the control system, but in some cases the device will be removed and other devices will be added with the new operating mode.

When changing operating modes of a device it will be factory reset which means that it will be required to be re-commissioned with the exception of the following products:
