Scene management was added to the zencontrol commissioning application in version 1.7.0
It can be accessed from the group summary page which can be reached through group management, or when viewing group membership for a specific device.
When on the group summary page, the scenes tab can be expanded to show the assigned scenes, as well as the ability to add a new scene. Clicking on an existing scene will allow you to edit it.
Adding or editing a scene will allow you to set a scene label, scene number, and set the scene level for each device. To set a scene level, check the box to show a silder, the actual device level will track the scene level slider as it is being moved. Clicking on the device picture will send an identification command to the device. Click the save button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen once you are satisfied with your changes.
From version 1.11.0 scene visibility can be set for home by zencontrol and plan view. When creating or editing a scene you can select user app and plan view visibility, this will then affect the options available in those application.
User app visibility:
- Hidden: home by zencontrol users cannot activate this scene.
- Read only: home by zencontrol users can activate but not edit this scene.
- Editable: home by zencontrol users can activate and edit this scene.
From version 1.14.0 of the zencontrol commissioning application you can now set colours in scenes. To set a colour level select the checkbox next to the "No colour change" label, this will show a colour change dialog which will allow you to set a colour based on the type lock previously set in the colour settings page. You can either disable the colour so that scene will not go to any colour and just an intensity when recalled or set it to a colour based on the type lock for the colour control.
