Occupancy Sensor

The thermal sensor can count people within occupancy zones, with each zone reporting its current room count for up to four rooms.

When configured correctly, the sensor is generally effective at maintaining an accurate people count within these environments. However, users should be aware of certain edge-case conditions that may occasionally cause minor discrepancies in the reported count, typically by a small margin, such as the difference between four and six people.

These edge cases may arise from environmental factors such as large glass doors or walls, unpredictable airflow, or situations where people are close together and appear merged. In practice, these temporary inaccuracies usually resolve themselves over time, resulting in a reasonably accurate overall count.
