How to reset and readopt wireless devices

From version 1.23.0 of the zencontrol mobile commissioning application wireless devices can be readopted int two ways.

Readopt only:

From the control system function page, enter the discover menu: 

This will show you all the wireless devices on your control system - clicking any which state "Has credential" will instruct the control system to attempt to readopt the device.

 

 

Reset and readopt

Wireless devices might sometimes enter an unexpected state during the adoption or network forming processes. When this occurs it may require the device to be factory reset before it can be readopted. 

This has been added as a function on the Device Location Summary page.

From the Device list, select Location settings: 


If the location has the required information (Has credential) a button will be shown to connect to the device and run the required reset and readopt commands.

You will need to be within bluetooth range of the device and will likely need to power cycle the fitting in order to ensure it is broadcasting on bluetooth.
