A router can be any wireless device and is automatically assigned. A router will relay the payloads between its children and other wireless routers.
It is possible in a long tunnel to jump or repeat the payload 32 times. An installer should consider the propagation time and that it meets the requirement of the installation.
In a typical commercial environment, the number of hops would be considerably less than 32.
