"Lux following" refers to temporary adjustment of light sensor target light level, to maintain the currently selected light level by way of a switch press. This temporary target value exists until the next profile change, where the setting will revert back to the level prescribed in the cloud.
Lux following is triggered / recalculated if one of two conditions occur:
A switch with the type "Custom Toggle With Lux Follow" sends any lighting command that does not constitute an OFF (Scenes etc)
Any DIM command (UP / DOWN) is heard on the bus (most often from a dimmer switch).
Once triggered, each individual light sensor controlling this target will briefly be overridden from making changes to the light level. After 40 seconds, the current reported light level for each sensor will be set as their target.
Should any profile change or transition to warn or off level occur during the 40 second settling period, the controller will cancel the request to change the light sensors light level. This prevents the light sensors from being set to low levels due to occupancy sequence command.
