A zone is a group of control systems that is used for a target to send the trigger to all of the control systems within the zone. A zone consists of a label and IP address. After the zone is created it can then be assigned to any number of control systems through the zone assignment view in grid view. The control systems that are in the same zone require all of them to have the same group, address, system address or system variable number that you want to target if that is what you are targeting. You can always target broadcast for the zone.
When your zone is assigned to the control systems you can then target the zone from the targets view. You can then pick what type of target you want for the zone. In the options it will display all of the possible groups, addresses, system addresses and system variables. It will list the ones of which all control systems in the zone have that same value at the top. Below that will be ones that are on one or more control systems and how many are missing.
For types like system address and system variable you can create a new one from the dropdown which will create the address/variable for the next available number across all control systems or it will display an error message if there is no suitable number available for the new address/variable.
